CUP at the White House!

I just learned that the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) has been awarded a 2015 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award for their Urban Invesigations Progam.  This project-based curricula enables high school students to explore fundamental questions about how the city works, using collaborative research and design.  I worked with CUP a few years ago to create Making the Grade, an Urban Investigation with students from Lyons Community School in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  This is a program that deserves recognition. Go CUP!
